I opened up a notepad document and started with My name is… and then Khalid dictated the rest. πŸ™‚ And when we uploaded it here, he read it off the screen and giggled. πŸ™‚

I am a little jealous he can count in even numbers. Even I can’t do that. Baaah… errr I mean MashAllah.

    Assalaamu alaykum sister,
On your MM profile comment, you stated : “She shamelessly solicits duas for the neurological development of her autistic son as well as the conversion of her Christian mother. So please make dua. JazakAllahuKheiran.”

May Allaah heal your son and give him the best of intellects and health.
May Allaah take away the barriers that’s stopping your mother from accepting the truth: the true teachings of Jesus (‘Eesa), and ultimately the true teachings of all Prophets (pbu them all): La ilaha illa-Allah wa ana rasul Allah – There is no god except God and I am the messenger of God.

Please could I have your mother’s email address – I would like to discuss Christianity and Islam with her and try to give a different perspective to what she has, and inshAlllah break those barriers that she has.

JazakAllahuKheiran for the duas brother, may they be accepted and Allah bless you for making dua for another Muslim. πŸ™‚ As much as I am looking forward to my mother accepting Islam, I do not think that giving you her email address would be in keeping with the wisest way of approaching her with the subject. πŸ™‚

It is an ongoing dialogue on a sensitive issue, and I hope you understand my preference to keep its handling within the family, or at the very least, within the realm of people my mother actually knows. πŸ™‚

JazakAllahuKheiran! And again, many thanks and may Allah bless you and reward you, make you an inheritor of Jannah. πŸ™‚

Sister, JazakAllaahu Khairan a million to you, for your du’as.
You have made a valid point and I understand your approach – it is the best approach – in my eagerness to help, I have overlooked this – I am a total stranger to her and to you too! Secondly, neither do you know me – what “flavour” Muslim I am – believe me, it is not going to be from the “sweet and sour” packet!
Alhamdulillah, I have had successful dialogues with a few Christians, and if you would like to know my methodology and advice – please email me and I”ll be happy to help out as much as I can.
