Alhamdulillah :)

We are pleased to introduce puffy pink baby Musfira, born two days early and well-loved, well-poked, and well received by Khalid and Iman, who adore her, Alhamdulillah. πŸ™‚

In true international fashion, her weight is 3.685 kilos- almost perfectly the exchange rate of the UAE dirham to US dollar, which is fixed. Β Proper blog update coming soon InshaAllah, JazakAllahuKheiran for the duas. πŸ™‚

Also it makes me realize that I no longer belong to the younger generation now;I am really old to claim to be a part of this some-21yrs-younger-than-me generation of kids.:(

Now when you poke your tummy, there is no one to poke you back:( and no one to blame for said tummy. Now you must update your family icon. God bless you all.

I was going to, really πŸ™‚ but then I came across Musfira in the Quran and it was just perfect for her. I don’t know how else to explain it, and I still think Khawla is a wonderful name, but the word Musfira fills me with hope (instead of dread) for Yaum-Al-Qiyamah, for myself and for my kids as well, InshaAllah
